We have identified the root cause of the increased latency some users have been
experiencing on cache reads. A small number of very popular paths were generating
disproportionate database load on our hot lookup path, which slowed down API
responses during peak traffic.
We have prepared a fix that removes this bottleneck and significantly reduces
database load. We expect to deploy it within the next 24 hours and will post an
update once it is live.
Cache uploads and downloads remain fully functional throughout. Thank you for your
